CVS-131 Clinical I (Spring 2026)

Course Goals

To prepare competent entry-level Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning domains.

Course Description

Clinical training consists of supervised hands-on work with patients and the discussion of cases with sonographers and physicians.  Throughout the clinical rotations, A and B, you will be responsible for specific objectives all geared to assure that the student is being exposed to the many duties necessary to function as a cardiac sonographer/vascular technologist. State-of-the-art equipment is available for you to use and learn.  Clinical affiliations have been chosen to ensure a broad professional experience.
